Copying the same details, over and over.
An order typed into a spreadsheet, a work sheet passed around on paper, an invoice built in yet another tool. Every copy is a chance for the figures to drift, and no one can say how far along the job is. APOUL Process keeps the work, the data, the people, the documents and the state in one flow, so it can be handed to the next person as it stands.

Stock and manufacturing
Goods in and out, stocktakes and lot numbers; manufacturing instructions from a bill of materials, with materials allocated, output recorded and checks kept.
Purchasing and payment
Purchase orders, approval, receipt, inspection, matching the supplier invoice and payment. No one can approve their own request.
Roles and records
What each role can do is separated. Who changed what, and when, is kept and cannot be removed afterwards.
Rules that carry the work
Set "when this happens, do that" and the job moves to the next person on its own. Routine work can start from a template.
Import and export
CSV and Excel are imported after you check what is in them, and exported in the shape other systems expect.
Backups you can restore
Take a copy of the data, check that it is intact, and put it back.
