APOUL and MiyabiBase do not collect information that is not needed for the purpose at hand.
2. What this site collects
This site has no accounts, no advertising trackers, no analytics, and does not store the contents of enquiries on a server. We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics service either. Hosting platforms such as Cloudflare Pages may process technical logs for delivery and security.
3. The site guide (Iris)
Iris, the site guide in the corner of every page, runs entirely in your browser. It compares what you type with an index of this site's pages, FAQ and glossary, and points you to the closest pages or gives the matching answer; it is not an AI and does not answer open questions. Nothing you type is sent to an external service, and nothing is stored.
4. Enquiries
If you write to us, we handle the name, email address and message needed to reply, and use them only to answer, follow up and resolve the matter.
5. External services
This site links to YouTube, LINE STORE, SUZURI and others. Information handling on those services is governed by their own policies.
6. Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Because no identifier is stored in your browser, there is no cookie consent prompt.
7. Changes
This policy may be revised as the site, the products and the contact methods change.
8. Requests and complaints
You may request notification of purpose, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of third-party provision of personal data held by APOUL. Please use the contact page. There is no fee. Complaints about the handling of personal data are received at the same address.
