APOUL Document Hub

Turn piles of documents into something you can search — on your Mac.

A Mac app that brings in PDFs, images, spreadsheets and other documents, reads the text, and lets you search inside them, not just by file name. It suggests dates, business names and amounts for you to confirm, and renames files only after you approve. Originals are never deleted or renamed behind your back. It is being prepared for release.

Why this exists

Where did you save that document?

Scanned invoices, PDFs from clients, receipts snapped on a phone. The more folders you have, the harder it is to find the one you need. APOUL Document Hub makes the contents searchable on your own machine and cuts the time spent looking.

What it does

What it does.

01

Import and folder watching

Bring in files and folders, and pick up documents dropped into a chosen folder. Handles PDFs, images, spreadsheets, text documents and more.

02

Find duplicates

Spot documents with the same contents.

03

Originals untouched

Original files are never deleted or renamed without you.

04

Read the text

05

Suggested details

Document type, dates (including Japanese era dates), business names and amounts are suggested for you to confirm.

06

Search inside

Search the body text, tags, date ranges, amount ranges and more, not just file names.

07

Rename with approval, undo any time

It proposes file names and renames only after you approve. Every action is logged and can be undone.
