APOUL Tech
Software: the apps and the systems for workplaces. Everything on the products page belongs here, and all of it is being prepared for release.
APOUL is an independent studio in Japan. We build software for the parts of a working day that are quietly annoying — hunting for something you copied, splitting a PDF, reading text off a photo, tracking attendance, checking a recipient before you send. Under the name MiyabiBase we also publish gaming videos, original music and character work. APOUL is the trade name of a business run by one person.
APOUL is software development and work design, run in Japan by one developer. It builds local apps for Windows and Mac, apps for iPhone and iPad, cloud and web services, and small systems for workplaces, and is preparing 34 products for release. The videos, music and character work are published under a separate name, MiyabiBase.
It started with YouTube videos and grew into the site, apps, music and consulting.
APOUL separates its businesses by what they make.

Clothing and beauty. It is working on MIYABI15, a beauty brand built around strawberries. Nothing is on sale yet.
Thirty-four apps, all in preparation for release. Each is scoped to one annoyance so it stays learnable in a few minutes.
Attendance, approvals, month-end close and the plumbing around them — designed from how the work actually runs, not from a feature checklist.
A few rules we hold ourselves to.
We would rather ship one thing that works than five that almost do.
Pages describe what changes for you, not the internals.
APOUL is a coined word, made to sound like an ordinary personal name — the kind you might hear anywhere. It carries a simple picture: one man's small idea turns into something built, and from there spreads out into the world.
Life Connect Cloud
APOUL LCC (Life Connect Cloud) is a way of thinking that combines the convenience of the cloud with the speed, peace of mind and freedom of working locally.
Speed, peace of mind, freedom
Sharing, syncing, connecting
Not everything belongs in the cloud. Rather than leaning on one side, APOUL uses the strengths of both to connect life, work, people and data naturally.
Cloud when needed. Local when better. Connected by APOUL.
The same ground as this page, put as questions.
APOUL is software development and work design, run in Japan by one developer. It takes the places where a working day stalls — hunting for something you copied, pulling a few pages out of a PDF, reading text off a photo, recording attendance, checking a recipient before you send — and makes one small tool for each. 34 products are in preparation for release.
No. APOUL is the trade name of a business run by one person. The seller, address and contact details are in the notice under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.
It is said “Apōru” — アポール in Japanese. It is a made-up word, built to sound like an ordinary person's name. One small idea (IDEA) becomes something built (BUILD) and reaches the world (REACH).
No. All 34 products are in preparation for release: none is on sale, free to download, or available today. Price, distribution and supported systems will be published on each product page once they are fixed.

It is a way of combining the convenience of the cloud with the speed, calm and freedom of your own device. What can finish on the device stays local; what needs sharing, syncing or connecting goes to the cloud. It describes how things are designed, not a feature any product promises.
They are two names used by the same person. APOUL covers software and work design; MiyabiBase covers gaming videos and streams on YouTube, original music (MiyabiBase AI), the cat character Nyabi, LINE stickers and goods on SUZURI. It is one site: everything under /miyabibase/ is MiyabiBase.
Yes, since November 1, 2026. The scope is what to tackle first, moving documents and records to digital form, where files live and what they are called, a first step on security, and deciding what belongs in the cloud and what belongs on your own machines. Judgements on law, tax and labour matters are out of scope. If there is a fee, the scope and the amount are agreed before any work starts. The consulting page has the detail.
The contact page has two desks: APOUL for the apps, consulting and this site, and MiyabiBase for the videos, music, Nyabi and goods. No form or documents are needed, and either desk is fine if you are unsure.
139 columns on work and digital tools, a glossary of 271 terms, a page gathering the questions answered across the site, MiyabiBase's 88 songs with their lyrics, and three quizzes: the cat quiz, Nyabi's work quiz and the sky quiz.
It is a guide to this site, and it uses no external AI service. What you type is used in that panel only and is sent nowhere. It points you at the page, the glossary entry or the answer that comes closest.

On choosing between the cloud and the local machine, and on fixing work without adding more tools.
IT basicsCloud or local? You do not have to pick a sideYou do not have to move everything to the cloud, and you do not have to pull everything back in-house. Sharing and syncing belong in the cloud; speed, offline work, privacy and heavy jobs belong on the machine in front of you.
