Why this exists

Attendance is a chain, not a screen.

A punch becomes a record, a record becomes a request, a request becomes an approval, and all of it has to survive month-end. KINTAI is designed around that chain rather than around a single timesheet screen.

Screen

What it looks like.

This is a development build. The employee and figures shown are sample data, not real staff records.

What it does

What it does.

01

Punches and records

Clock in and out, and see the resulting work record.

02

Leave

Track entitlements and use.

03

Requests and approvals

Overtime, days off and leave go through an approval route.

04

Month-end close

Close the month, run pre-payroll calculations and export them as CSV.

05

Shifts

Manage rotating shifts and clock in against them, from a tablet or smartphone.

06

Change history

Changes to attendance data are logged.

07

Records for everyone

Daily and monthly records that staff and admin can both check.

08

Payroll hand-off

Producing figures the next step can use is in scope.

When you would use it

Situations, not features.

A team that clocks in

Punches that turn into usable records.

Approvals that stall

See where a request is sitting.

Month-end that drags

Close with the numbers already reconciled.

Payroll staff

Take the closed month into payroll, in a form that can be reproduced later.

How it goes

The basic flow.

You should be able to guess the next step without reading a manual.

  1. 1
    Clock in

Record the day; punches, leave and requests build up.

  2. 2
    Request and approve

Corrections and leave go through the approval chain.

  3. 3
    Close the month

Check, fix, and hand the figures on.

Data and trust

Daily records and closed months are kept apart.

Daily punches, work, leave requests and leave history live in KINTAI; payroll refers to the closed, fixed data. Coverage of labour regulations, overtime-agreement management, IC cards and specific work schemes will be stated at release.
