This policy explains how APOUL ("we") handles information in the iOS app "APOUL ANSER VOICE" (the "App").
1. Summary
The App does not send your information to us or collect it. We do not run any server for the App, and no account is required. The App has no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
2. Information stored on your device
The App stores the following only on your device. We cannot see it.
- Sentences you type, sentences spoken, and your speech history
- Phrases, categories, favorites, your personal dictionary and scenes
- Settings such as text size, language and interaction mode
- Automatic backups (the last 7, on your device)
Through standard iOS features, this data may be included in your iCloud or computer backups. Deleting the App deletes this data from your device.
3. Microphone and speech recognition
The microphone and speech recognition are used only when you tap Listen in the Conversation (captions) feature. Recognition uses Apple's on-device speech recognition only; audio and captions are never saved or sent. Captions are cleared when you leave the screen. No other feature uses the microphone.
4. Translation
Translated conversation uses Apple's on-device translation. Text is not sent to our servers or any third party. The first time, iOS may ask to download language data (provided by Apple).
5. Sharing you start yourself
Text leaves the App only when you:
- Tap Copy: the text is placed on your device's clipboard
- Tap Send: the iOS share sheet opens and the text is handed to the app you choose (such as Messages or Mail)
- Export a backup: a file is saved where you choose (such as Files or iCloud Drive). This file includes your speech history
How those services handle it is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Plus subscription
Plus is purchased, renewed and cancelled through Apple's App Store. We never receive your payment details. Your subscription status is checked on your device through Apple's StoreKit.
7. Sharing with third parties
Because we do not collect your information, we do not share it with anyone.
8. Children
The App is meant for people of all ages and does not collect information from anyone, regardless of age.
9. Changes
We will post any changes on this page. If the App ever begins collecting information, we will tell you in the App beforehand.
